Michael Grierson is an App Growth Expert and the face behind NRTR.  Michael has been working in digital marketing since 2006, and in high growth startups and tech businesses since 2014. 

In 2017 Michael put his hand up to drive app growth for Skyscanner in the Australia and New Zealand markets while mentoring app growth across other APAC markets.  During his tenure the Skyscanner app in Australia cemented its place in the top 10 of the respective app store travel categories. With app growth outpacing web growth for active users and revenue in 2018. 

 

Since then Michael went on to be the Head of Growth at the world's first app based telco - OYA by Telenor in Singapore, and successfully navigated Travello app through the Covid crisis, growing MAU even in the darkest days of Corona. 

Now Michael is dedicating his time to help a variety of apps grow through his consultancy NRTR. 

NRTR is a stylised way to express "nurture" - a word that best describes Michael's approach to working with his clients and nurturing their app growth.  He endeavours to not just do the work but "level-up" clients empowering them to evolve into app growth expert themselves.

NRTR is based in Newcastle Australia, but works with apps across the globe.
